GIIA, also known as the Global Initiative for Indigenous Advancement, is a 501c3 non-governmental organization that was established in 2000 with the objective of improving the social, health, education, and economic conditions of Indigenous communities across the globe.

With a focus on the welfare of the Indigenous people around the world, GIIA strives to make a significant impact on their lives. The organization believes that the key to success lies in valuing the people themselves – the Indigenous communities.
